Three-pivot lithium forklifts of different tonnages have targeted adjustments in design, and there are also differences in the corresponding operating range. Understanding these ranges can help to choose equipment reasonably according to actual scenarios.
The first is the small-tonnage three-point lithium-ion forklift, which usually refers to models with a rated lifting weight of 1 ton to 1.5 tons. The body size of this type of model is relatively small, and the turning radius is relatively compact, generally between 1.3 meters and 1.6 meters. It is suitable for operation in very narrow indoor passages, such as areas where only 1.8 meters to 2.2 meters are left after the transformation of traditional storage shelves, or small production workshops and finished warehouses in the pharmaceutical and electronics industries. The operation objects of small-tonnage models are mainly light pallet goods, such as electronic product spare parts, pharmaceutical packaging, small food boxes, etc. The total weight of the goods must be controlled within the rated lifting weight and cannot exceed the center distance requirements of safe load. The standard load center distance of most small-tonnage models is 500mm. In terms of lifting height, the basic lifting height of small-tonnage models can usually meet the needs of ordinary shelves, generally between 3 meters and 4 meters. Some models that can be equipped with extended door frames can have a maximum lifting height of 5 meters to 6 meters. However, when equipped with extended door frames, it is necessary to note that the rated lifting weight may decrease appropriately with the lifting height.
The second is the medium-tonnage three-point lithium-ion forklift, with a rated lifting capacity of between 1.8 tons and 2.5 tons. The body size is slightly larger than that of the small-tonnage model, the turning radius is generally between 1.5 meters and 1.9 meters, and the channel width requirement is usually between 2 meters and 2.5 meters. It is suitable for medium-sized e-commerce warehouses, cold chain distribution warehouses, hardware small parts warehouses and other scenarios. The working objects of this type of model are mainly medium-weight pallet goods, such as home appliance packing boxes, hardware tool assemblies, cold chain food pallets, etc. The standard load center distance is mostly 500 mm. There are also a few models that provide a slightly larger load center distance option for special long goods, but the change of the rated lifting weight needs to be confirmed when choosing. The basic lifting height of medium-tonnage models is generally 3.5 meters to 4.5 meters, and the extended gantry version can reach up to 7 meters to 8 meters, which can meet the access requirements of most high-level pallet shelves.
It is important to note that the operating range of all three-point lithium-ion forklifts will be affected by factors such as ground flatness, battery power, cargo form, and ambient temperature. In actual operation, it is necessary to strictly follow the requirements of the equipment operation manual to ensure safety and efficiency.
