When handling bulk bags with electric forklifts, following standardized operation practices is the core premise to ensure stable and secure material movement in daily warehouse and industrial scenarios.
Before starting the lifting work, operators need to carry out full pre-checks first. Confirm the rated load mark of the bulk bag matches the lifting capacity of the forklift, check all lifting loops of the bulk bag for no tear, abrasion or hidden damage, and verify that the dedicated lifting attachment fixed on the forklift forks is installed firmly without loose parts. It is not recommended to directly lift the bulk bag with bare forks inserted into the bag bottom, which may cause uneven stress and lead to accidental slipping.
During the moving process, operators should keep the lifting and landing speed gentle, avoid sudden acceleration, sudden braking or sharp steering at high speed. Do not lift the bulk bag to an excessively high height during traveling, keep the bag 15 to 20 cm above the ground to maintain stable sight line. Never move the bulk bag over the top of passing personnel, and clear all obstacles on the planned traveling route in advance.
When placing the bulk bag to the designated area, make sure the ground is flat and load-bearing enough, adjust the position slowly to avoid tilting the bulk bag and causing material leakage. After finishing the operation, lower the forklift forks to the lowest position as required, and park the vehicle in the specified area.
