The hydraulic system is the core functional component of electric forklifts to complete lifting and stacking operations, and regular standardized inspection and troubleshooting can effectively avoid unexpected downtime caused by minor faults.
Before each daily operation, you can first complete the preliminary inspection work: check the hydraulic oil level to confirm it is within the standard scale range, insufficient oil supply will directly lead to slow lifting speed and insufficient lifting force. Observe the status of the hydraulic oil at the same time, replace the oil in time if it appears turbid and mixed with excess impurities, to avoid hard particles wearing the internal seal elements and causing leakage risk.
When abnormal conditions such as jitter and abnormal sound occur during the lifting process, you can check the tightness of each hydraulic pipeline joint first, confirm whether there is liquid leakage caused by loose connectors, and check whether there are foreign attachments on the surface of the piston rod to scratch the sealing ring, clean up the foreign matter and replace the aging sealing part to restore normal operation. For the situation that the forklift cannot reach the maximum lifting height even under no-load state, you can adjust the overflow valve pressure to the factory specified standard range according to the operation specification, do not adjust the pressure beyond the limit without authorization to avoid damage to the pipeline structure.
If you encounter complex hydraulic faults that are difficult to locate in daily operation, you can contact us, Jianshu New Energy. We are specialized in BYD electric forklifts, and provide professional whole-process operation and maintenance support. For relevant consultation, please send an email to 17399989919@163.com. Regular standardized troubleshooting can effectively extend the service life of the hydraulic system, ensure smooth and stable lifting operation, and reduce unnecessary extra operation cost.
