Before replacing the carbon brush and encoder accessories of the lithium-ion forklift's walking motor, it is necessary to make full preparations: first cut off the total power supply of the forklift, wear insulating gloves to avoid the risk of electric shock; prepare sleeve wrenches, cross screwdrivers and other matching tools, and check the model specifications of the new accessories to ensure that they match the original accessories completely, so as to prevent installation failures due to model discrepancies.
When replacing the carbon brush, first open the end cover of the motor carbon brush and gently remove the old carbon brush. If the wear degree of the carbon brush exceeds one-third, it needs to be replaced in time. Clean the toner and impurities inside the brush holder to avoid poor contact problems with the new carbon brush. When installing the new carbon brush, ensure that the carbon brush and the commutator surface fit tightly, adjust the spring pressure to a reasonable range, so as to maintain good contact and not accelerate the wear of the parts due to excessive pressure. Finally, cover the end cover and tighten the screws.
The replacement of encoder accessories should pay attention to accurate positioning: after finding the encoder position on the motor, first disconnect the connecting wire and mark it to prevent subsequent wrong wiring; remove the screws or buckles that fix the encoder with appropriate tools, and carefully remove the old encoder to avoid colliding with internal precision parts. When installing a new encoder, align the positioning hole to ensure accurate position. After fixing the screws, reconnect the line according to the mark to prevent the line from loosening or reversing.
After the replacement is completed, it should be fully accepted: turn on the power supply and practice running the forklift to observe whether the walking process is smooth, whether there is abnormal noise or stuck; test whether the motor speed and torque are normal, check the contact status of the carbon brush and the commutator, and the signal feedback stability of the encoder. If any abnormality is found, it is necessary to immediately stop the machine for investigation and adjustment, and confirm that the accessories are running normally before putting them into daily use. Pay attention to dust prevention throughout the operation, and take good protection when cleaning the toner. The old accessories are properly handled to avoid polluting the environment.
