The material transfer in the building materials factory has always been a difficult task. The tons of sand and gravel, plates, prefabricated parts, etc., have strict requirements on the carrying capacity and stability of the handling equipment. Recently, we photographed the operation scene of BYD AF2500 forklift in a building materials factory, providing intuitive reference for enterprises with similar needs.
At the scene of the actual shooting, there are a large number of bags of sand and heavy gypsum board piled up in the factory area, and the forklift needs to be transferred back and forth between the yard and the production workshop. After starting the operation, the forklift first drives smoothly to the side of the sand and gravel pile, and the fork is accurately inserted into the bottom of the tray and slowly lifted to the appropriate height. There is no obvious shaking during the whole process, which is suitable for the handling needs of heavy-duty materials. When passing through a section of uneven temporary road in the factory area, the shock absorption system of the forklift effectively buffers the bumps and ensures that the materials do not fall risk.
Then the forklift turned to the plate storage area, where the passage is relatively narrow, and the building materials of different heights are piled on both sides. With its flexible steering performance, the forklift successfully completed two right-angle turns and stopped accurately in front of the plate tray. After adjusting the spacing of the fork, it steadily lifted the heavy plate and transported it to the processing workshop at a constant speed. During the period, passing through a downhill section, the forklift's braking system responded in time to maintain the stability of the driving.
After nearly two hours of continuous operation, the forklift still maintained a stable operating state, with no significant attenuation of power output, adapting to the long-term and high-intensity transshipment needs of the building materials factory. From the actual scene, this forklift is designed to meet the characteristics of heavy-duty and complex sites in the building materials industry. In terms of bearing capacity, control flexibility and operation stability, it shows the performance of adapting to actual working conditions, which can effectively help the factory to improve the efficiency of material transfer.
