Before the formal installation, you need to finish full pre-installation preparation first. Confirm the model matching degree of the protective parts you prepare, check that there is no damage, crack or deformation on the surface of spare parts, and prepare standard installation tools including hexagonal spanner, torque wrench and non-slip soft cushion. Then park the electric forklift on flat hard ground, turn off the main power switch completely, pull up the hand brake, and pad the bottom of the mast to avoid unexpected sliding in the operation process.
During the formal installation process, you need to operate in sequence to avoid deviation. First, align the reserved mounting holes of the protective parts with the pre-set fixing holes on the mast frame, insert the supporting fixing bolts in sequence, and do not tighten all bolts temporarily, which will leave reasonable adjustment margin for later position correction. Then adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the protective part to ensure it is closely fitted with the mast frame without warping or position deviation, and the protective range can completely cover the upper operation area of the mast. After the position is fully confirmed, tighten the bolts in diagonal sequence with the torque wrench according to the standard torque value specified in the official operation manual.
After the installation is finished, you need to complete the necessary post-installation inspection. Shake the protective part gently to check if there is any looseness, then start the mast lifting test for 3 to 5 full cycles, observe whether the protective part has friction or collision with other moving components.
