The raw material warehouse is the core link of the production supply chain, and the transfer efficiency of heavy-duty materials directly affects the follow-up production rhythm. Traditional manual-driven forklifts not only face the problem of rising labor costs, but also are prone to operation errors in narrow passages and high-frequency operation scenarios, which affect the stability of material transfer. Based on these pain points, we introduced the AP30 laser AGV for heavy-duty material transfer. After a period of practical operation, we have accumulated some practical experience.
Load performance adapts to heavy load requirements. The materials in the raw material warehouse are mostly large-sized and high-weight packaging parts. The rated load parameters of the AP30 laser AGV can match the heavy load requirements of daily transportation. When handling stacked raw material pallets, a single transfer can be completed without additional splitting, reducing the number of transshipments and improving the overall operation efficiency. At the same time, its body structure design takes into account the load-bearing stability. During full load driving, the body shaking range is small, which can effectively avoid the risk of material displacement or falling, and ensure the safety of material transportation.
Laser navigation adapts to complex warehouse environments. There are obstacles such as shelves, columns, and temporary stacking of materials in the warehouse. The AP30 AGV in laser navigation mode can scan the surrounding environment in real time, dynamically adjust the driving path, and has high positioning accuracy. It can accurately dock to the designated loading and unloading point without manual assistance to adjust the position. Even in the case of changes in the brightness of warehouse lights and temporary materials occupying the road, it can maintain a stable navigation ability, adapt to the complex scenarios of daily operations, and reduce the interruption of operations due to environmental changes.
Operation stability and operation and maintenance convenience. During the continuous operation period, the AP30 laser AGV has a low failure rate, which can maintain a stable transfer rhythm, reduce operation interruptions caused by equipment failures, and provide support for the smooth operation of the production supply chain. At the same time, its supporting background management system can monitor the status of equipment and the progress of operations in real time, and the operation and maintenance personnel can check minor faults in time through the system, which reduces the operation and maintenance cost. In addition, the operation interface of the equipment is simple and intuitive, and new operation and maintenance personnel can get started and manage it after a short period of training, which further improves the operation and maintenance efficiency.
Overall, the AP30 laser AGV has shown good adaptability in the scenario of heavy-duty transfer in raw material warehouses, which can effectively solve the pain points of traditional transfer methods and improve the efficiency and stability of logistics operations. For warehouses with heavy-duty transfer needs, this type of laser AGV is a worthy reference for logistics upgrade solutions.
