Reach-type lithium-ion forklifts have become one of the mainstream equipment for indoor storage and handling due to their advantages of front and rear movement, small size and flexibility, environmental protection and energy saving, and different tonnage models have obvious differences in application scenarios.
Reach-type lithium-ion forklifts of 1 ton to 1.5 tons are the most commonly used small-tonnage models in storage scenarios. The body width of this type of model is usually narrow, and the turning radius is small. It is suitable for working in high-level shelf areas with narrow roadway widths, such as raw material warehouses in light manufacturing, small and medium-sized storage areas in e-commerce logistics, and room temperature/constant temperature drug picking warehouses in pharmaceutical chains. Their lifting height can generally cover shelves of about 8 meters, which can meet the multi-layer storage and fast handling needs of small and medium-sized goods. At the same time, because of its light weight, the bearing requirements on the ground are relatively low. It is suitable for ordinary cement floors or warehouse floors with foundation wear-resistant materials.
Reach-type lithium-ion forklifts of 2 tons to 2.5 tons are medium-tonnage models with improved carrying capacity while maintaining good flexibility. This type of model is suitable for handling medium-weight pallet goods, with a lift height of about 10 meters. It is suitable for finished product warehouses in medium-sized manufacturing industries, storage areas for full boxes of goods in the food and beverage industry, and storage areas for barrels or bags of chemical raw materials. Some models can also be equipped with different attachments, such as side shifters, pitch-adjusting forks, etc., to further enhance the convenience of operation and adapt to the handling needs of pallets of different specifications.
Reach-type lithium-ion forklifts of 3 tons and above are large-tonnage models, mainly used to carry heavier goods, and the lifting height is generally between 8 meters and 12 meters. The body of this type of model is relatively wide, and the requirements for roadway width and ground load are also higher. It is suitable for use in heavy industry spare parts warehouses, indoor storage areas in large building materials markets, and transit warehouses for grain reserves. It can efficiently complete the loading and unloading of heavy pallet goods and short-distance transshipment.
When selecting a reach-type lithium-ion forklift, it should be based on the actual needs of its own cargo weight, shelf height, roadway width, and ground load, and match the appropriate tonnage model to give full play to the efficiency of the equipment.
