Before using the fast charging equipment matched by the 5-ton lithium battery forklift, it is necessary to confirm whether the environment meets the requirements. The charging place should be kept dry and ventilated, avoid direct sunlight, rain and snow, and stay away from flammable and explosive items. The ground should be flat and firm, and there should be no water or oil stains. At the same time, it is necessary to check the power supply voltage and frequency of the charging place to ensure that it is consistent with the parameters marked by the fast charging equipment. The rated capacity of the power socket or junction box should be greater than the maximum input power of the equipment to avoid overload tripping or even line damage.
Next, check the connection between the equipment and the vehicle. Check the appearance of the fast charging equipment first, and check whether the charging gun, cable, and interface are damaged, deformed, oxidized or loose. If there is any abnormality, it needs to be replaced or repaired in time, and it cannot be forcibly used. Then check the charging interface of the 5-ton lithium battery forklift, and also clean the dust, debris or water stains in the interface to ensure good contact. Also confirm the current power status of the forklift. Generally speaking, when the lithium battery power is between 20% and 80% remaining, fast charging will have relatively little impact on the battery life. When the power is too low or too high, it is recommended to adjust the charging method or wait for the right moment.
When connecting the device to the vehicle, strictly follow the operation process. Plug in the power plug of the fast charging device first to ensure that the device is powered on normally for self-test. After the indicator light shows that there is no fault, then insert the charging gun into the charging interface of the forklift smoothly and accurately. After hearing the sound of the buckle locking, gently shake the charging gun to confirm that the connection is firm. During the charging process, do not plug and unplug the charging gun or disconnect the power supply at will, and do not perform welding, cutting and other operations that may generate sparks in the charging place. To regularly check the charging status of the device and the vehicle, if you find abnormal sound, smell or indicator light flashing abnormally, you should immediately press the emergency stop button of the device, disconnect the power supply, and contact a professional for treatment. Do not disassemble and repair yourself.
After the charging is completed, first confirm that the device shows that the charging is complete, the indicator light turns green or goes out, then press the unlock button, smoothly pull out the charging gun, organize the cable, and place it in the designated location to avoid being run over by the vehicle or exposed to harsh environments for a long time.
