Workshop lightweight handling small lithium battery forklift experience

As a practitioner of deep plowing workshop logistics handling planning and equipment actual testing for more than 5 years, daily contact with different scales of production workshops, e-commerce front warehouses and small warehouses handling needs, recently for small-scale, light load material scenarios, followed up with more than ten users, here to talk about the real performance of such equipment.

What is the suitable use scenario? According to observations, it is more suitable for spaces with a single load of less than 1.5 tons and a single handling distance of no more than 100 meters, such as the turnover of the material tray in the electronic components workshop, the transfer of fabrics and finished products in clothing production, the small batch handling of hardware, and the picking and transshipment of goods between the shelves in the e-commerce front warehouse.

Small space shuttle is more flexible. For traditional internal combustion or slightly larger lead-acid forklifts, the minimum turning radius of the body is generally more than 1.8 meters, and some narrow workshop passages or shelf gaps cannot pass smoothly. Most of these small lithium-ion forklifts can control the turning radius within 1.5 meters, and some are even smaller. The shelf spacing does not need to be particularly wide to pass, which can indirectly improve space utilization.

Light load and strong short-distance adaptation. Materials such as material trays and fabrics that are not heavy but need to be transported frequently are just right for use. The body is light, and the starting and parking are relatively smooth. It will not easily damage materials or surrounding equipment and shelves, and short-distance round trips will not waste energy.

Intuitive changes compared to traditional equipment. Maintenance costs are reduced to a certain extent, there is no need to replace parts such as oil filters, and the battery replacement cycle is longer. It is more user-friendly, without the exhaust emissions and noise of internal combustion equipment, the workshop environment will be more comfortable, and the operator will not be too tired after working for a long time. However, the battery life of this type of equipment is relatively limited, and it is more suitable to be equipped with a dedicated charging position.
