As the core bearing component of an electric forklift, the fork bears the weight of the goods, frequent operations and accidental collisions for a long time, and is prone to deformation problems such as bending and twisting, which directly affects the operation safety and stability of the forklift. When the fork is deformed, it is necessary to evaluate the degree of deformation first: if it is slightly deformed, professional hydraulic correction equipment can be used to slowly apply force correction under controlled pressure. During the correction process, the stress change of the fork needs to be monitored in real time to avoid cracks or fractures caused by excessive force. If the deformation is serious or accompanied by cracks, the fork should be stopped immediately, and the accessories should be replaced in time. It is forbidden to continue the operation after forced repair.
The repaired fork needs to be fully inspected, including surface flatness measurement and static load-bearing test, to ensure that its carrying capacity meets the requirements of the operation, and can only be put into use after passing the test.
For the fork parts that need to be replaced, the principle of specification matching should be strictly followed. First of all, it is necessary to confirm the suitable forklift model. The length, width and thickness of the fork should be consistent with the original parts to avoid poor coordination between the fork frame and the fork due to dimensional deviation. Secondly, the load-bearing grade of the fork should match the rated load of the forklift, and accessories lower than the original specifications should not be selected to prevent overload fracture during operation. In terms of materials, alloy steel with high strength and toughness should be selected to ensure that the fork is not easily deformed or worn during long-term operation. At the same time, attention should be paid to the installation dimensions such as the spacing and aperture of the fork hook to ensure that it can be accurately adapted to the forklift fork frame. After installation, the sliding flexibility of the fork should be checked to avoid stagnation.
When purchasing replacement parts, it is necessary to compare the original technical parameters of the forklift to select the type, do not change the specifications of the parts at will, and after the replacement is completed, it is necessary to carry out no-load and load practice running to confirm the normal operation of the fork, no abnormal shaking or abnormal noise, and ensure the safety of subsequent operations.
