The hydraulic oil pump is the core component of the hydraulic system of an electric forklift. Once there is a problem of insufficient pressure, it will directly lead to slow or even failure of the forklift lift, tilt, etc., affecting the efficiency and safety of the operation. When encountering such failures, it is necessary to check and deal with them step by step, and at the same time pay attention to the simultaneous replacement of the filter element and the pipeline to solve the problem at the root.
First of all, it is necessary to conduct a basic investigation of the hydraulic system. First check the liquid level and quality of the hydraulic oil. If the liquid level is lower than the standard value, replenish the hydraulic oil that meets the specifications in time; if the oil is turbid, black or contains impurities, it means that the oil has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Then check the system for leakage points. Focus on checking the oil pump seals, pipeline joints, hydraulic cylinder sealing rings and other parts. If leakage is found, replace the damaged sealing components and fasten the joints in time.
When eliminating oil and leakage problems, it is necessary to pay attention to the status of the filter element and pipeline. Long-term use of hydraulic filter elements will accumulate a large number of impurities, which will hinder the flow of oil and cause the output pressure of the oil pump to drop. The aging pipeline may have corrosion, deformation or local blockage, which will also affect the pressure transmission. At this time, only replacing the filter element or only replacing the pipeline will not completely solve the problem - the remaining pipeline impurities will block the new filter element again, and the blockage of the old filter element may also contaminate the new pipeline, forming a vicious circle.
Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filter element and pipeline simultaneously. Before replacement, stop the machine and release the pressure of the hydraulic system to avoid the danger of oil ejection. When replacing, remove the old filter element and aging pipeline first, and clean the oil pump interface and surrounding impurities; when installing the new pipeline, ensure that the joints are tightly connected to avoid leakage; when installing the new filter element, pay attention to the correct placement according to the marked direction to avoid the installation affecting the filtration effect. After the replacement is completed, start the forklift for no-load test to observe whether the lifting and tilting movements are smooth. At the same time, use the pressure gauge to detect the output pressure of the oil pump to confirm that the pressure is restored to the standard range.
During daily maintenance, it is also necessary to regularly check the status of the filter element and pipeline, and establish a replacement cycle according to the operating environment and frequency of use to reduce the occurrence of insufficient pressure in the hydraulic pump from the source and prolong the service life of the equipment.
