electric forklifts are widely used in heavy load scenarios such as large industrial warehouses, port cargo yards and heavy manufacturing workshops, where continuous high-intensity operation puts forward higher requirements for the stability of the vehicle lubrication system.
Under heavy load conditions, the lubrication system of standard qualified electric forklifts will dynamically adjust the oil supply pressure according to the real-time torque data of the power output end. When the load weight exceeds 70% of the rated load, the system will automatically increase the lubricant delivery volume to the friction pairs of the driving motor, gear reduction set, steering hinge and lifting slide rail, to form a continuous and uniform oil film between the contacted metal surfaces, and reduce the friction resistance during component operation.
The excess lubricant will flow back to the sealed oil storage tank through the preset return passage after finishing the lubrication work. The built-in filter element will block the fine metal wear debris and particulate impurities mixed in the lubricant during the backflow process, to avoid the impurities being brought back to the friction surface and causing abnormal wear. The temperature sensing module arranged near the key lubrication points will also transmit real-time temperature data to the vehicle control unit, to prevent lubrication failure caused by lubricant viscosity drop under long-time high-load operation.
Mastering the working mechanism of the lubrication system under heavy load is helpful for operators to carry out daily maintenance correctly, extend the service life of core components and reduce the comprehensive operation cost.
