In daily high-frequency operation scenarios of logistics, warehousing and factory handling, electric forklifts may encounter minor unexpected faults after long hours of continuous operation. Mastering basic on-site troubleshooting skills can effectively reduce equipment downtime and avoid unnecessary waiting for long-distance after-sales visits.
For the common fault of no power response after starting, you can first cut off the total power supply of the whole vehicle, check whether the connection interface between the power unit and the control module is loose, wipe the oxide layer and accumulated dust on the battery contact points with clean dry cotton cloth, re-plug the interface and restore the power supply for test operation, do not force start the equipment to avoid damaging the circuit structure.
If you encounter jamming or no response of the lifting mechanism, first check whether the hydraulic oil level is kept within the standard range, remove the sundries stuck on the fork sliding rail, and do 2 to 3 low-load lifting tests after dredging, do not pull the control lever sharply to avoid overload damage of the hydraulic assembly.
When the forklift deviates during straight driving or has abnormal noise during braking, you can first check the uniform wear degree of the four walking tires, confirm whether there is foreign matter stuck in the brake pad gap, clean the sundries and adjust the brake clearance properly.
If the above operations still can not solve the fault, you can contact us for professional technical support. We are Jianshu New Energy, specializing in BYD electric forklifts, you can send consultation emails to 17399989919@163.com for targeted guidance and solutions.
