Pre-use verification of load-limit labels of supporting jacks is a fundamental safety step that must be completed before launching any electric forklift servicing operation, to eliminate hidden risks caused by unrecognized load parameter deviation in subsequent maintenance procedures.
Before starting the verification, relevant operation personnel shall first adjust the electric forklift to a static safe state, cut off the whole power supply, activate the parking brake, and place the vehicle on a flat, solid ground without obvious obstacles around the working area. Then the personnel can approach the supporting jack part of the servicing device, visually check the pasting state of the load-limit label first, confirm the label is not peeled off, curled, or fully covered by accumulated oil stain and dust, and all text marks on the label can be clearly identified.
Next, the verifier needs to compare the marked content on the label with the nominal parameter of the corresponding jack, confirm the labeled rated load, applicable vehicle weight range and other core information are fully matched with the equipment configuration, no wrong pasting or missing label situation exists. If the label is found damaged, unrecognizable or mismatched, the personnel shall suspend all lifting-related servicing processes immediately, replace the qualified new load-limit label and finish the matching load calibration of the supporting device, then can resume subsequent work.
