electric forklift trucks have become core handling equipment in modern warehouse scenarios for their low noise, zero exhaust emission and easy maintenance features. Standardized safety operation of forklift operators is the core premise to ensure the smooth operation of warehousing links, avoid personnel injury and property loss, and create a stable and orderly working environment.
1. Pre-operation Full Check
Before starting the daily work, every operator must complete a full range of inspection work. First, check the braking sensitivity, steering flexibility, residual power status of the vehicle, confirm there is no abnormal wear or damage on the fork assembly, wheels and safety warning lights. Second, check the surrounding operation area, remove scattered sundries on the driving route, confirm no unrelated personnel stay in the planned operation range. It is strictly forbidden to drive the equipment with hidden dangers to start handling work. Operators also need to confirm they have no fatigue or abnormal physical condition before taking up the post, to ensure they can respond to unexpected situations in time during operation.
2. Standard On-site Operation
During the driving and handling process, operators need to strictly abide by the warehouse speed limit rules, the driving speed in the warehouse area should not exceed 5km/h generally, slow down and honk when turning, passing the aisle intersection or crossing the stacking area. When lifting goods, make sure the goods are placed in the center of the fork, no overloading, partial load or ultra-high stacking operation is allowed. No personnel are allowed to stand under the lifting fork, and it is strictly forbidden to use the forklift to carry people without corresponding safety supporting facilities. Operators should also keep enough safe distance from storage racks, other handling equipment and walking personnel to avoid accidental collision.
3. Post-operation Standard Management
After the daily operation is completed, the operator should drive the electric forklift to the designated parking area with flat and solid ground, pull the handbrake completely, lower the fork to the ground level, cut off the power supply and take away the key. It is not allowed to park the forklift on the fire passage, edge of the unloading platform, or the passage entrance and exit that will block the passage of other personnel and logistics vehicles. Operators should also do a simple appearance cleaning of the vehicle after work, and record the abnormal situation encountered in the operation of the shift in time for subsequent maintenance and troubleshooting.
