For cold low temperature climate scenarios, when the ambient temperature is below 0℃ for a long time, we recommend selecting hydraulic oil with lower viscosity grade. Low viscosity hydraulic oil has better fluidity at low temperatures, which can avoid the problem of difficult start-up of the hydraulic pump caused by excessive oil condensation, and ensure that the fork can respond sensitively when the operation handle is pulled. Users should check the oil flow state during daily pre-start inspection to avoid blockage of the filter element caused by deteriorated oil.
For high temperature hot climate scenarios, when the ambient temperature is higher than 35℃ for a long time, it is recommended to choose hydraulic oil with relatively high viscosity grade. High viscosity hydraulic oil can maintain stable oil film thickness between the hydraulic cylinder, spool and other friction pairs under high temperature heat accumulation, prevent oil leakage caused by too thin oil, and keep the load-bearing capacity of the hydraulic system in a stable state.
For transitional climate scenarios with large temperature differences between day and night, users can choose the medium viscosity grade of hydraulic oil that meets the general industrial standard, which can balance the fluidity at low night temperature and the sealing performance at high noon temperature.
