2-Ton electric forklifts are commonly used equipment in warehousing, logistics, and workshop handling scenarios. Lithium batteries are its core power source. Proper charging and maintenance operations are essential to ensure operational stability and prolong battery life.
Several core operation points of correct charging need to be paid attention to. The first is the choice of charging environment. It should be set in a dry and ventilated fixed charging area without flammable and explosive items. Avoid direct sunlight or high temperature baking. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent the battery from coming into contact with water or corrosive liquids to avoid short circuit or corrosion of internal components during charging. Secondly, the timing of charging is to grasp. Do not wait until the battery is completely exhausted and the device is forcibly powered off. It is recommended to charge when the device power prompts between 20% and 30%. Too deep discharge will cause irreversible damage to the internal structure of the battery. In addition, it is necessary to control the charging time. Try to use a charger and charging cable that exactly match the specifications of the device model. Do not mix charging devices with different voltages and interfaces. Unplug the power plug in time after being fully charged to avoid continuous charging for a long time and reduce the risk of battery overcharge.
Basic maintenance in daily use should also not be ignored. When handling goods, try to maintain a smooth operation, avoid slamming on the accelerator and braking, reduce the impact of high current discharge on the battery, and prolong the battery life and service life. Regularly check the appearance of the battery to see if there are bulges, liquid leaks, and shell damage. If any abnormalities are found, stop using it immediately and contact professionals to deal with it. Do not disassemble and repair it yourself. When the equipment is not used for a long time, charge the battery to about 50%, and then store it in an environment that meets the requirements. Check the battery every one to two months. If the battery is too low, charge it to avoid the battery being stored in a state of power loss for a long time.
