The 2-ton electric forklift is a light and medium-sized loading and unloading equipment commonly used in factory workshops, e-commerce warehouses and other places. It is inevitable that some minor faults will occur in daily high-frequency use. Master the basic investigation and treatment methods, which can quickly solve simple problems and reduce the cost loss caused by equipment shutdown.
First, let's talk about the failure to start, which is a more common problem. First, check the power system first, and first observe the battery level indicator. If the power is lower than the safe threshold, it can be restored by charging in time. Second, check the battery terminal to see if there is any loosening or oxidation. If it is loose, tighten the bolts with a tool. If it is oxidized, you can gently polish the surface of the terminal with fine sandpaper, and then wipe it with a clean cloth and reconnect it. Also check the fuse box of the vehicle to find the fuse related to the starting circuit. If the fuse is blown, replace the fuse of the same specification model. Second, check the safety trigger device of the vehicle. Some models need to fully press the brake pedal to start. Make sure that the brake pedal is pressed to the bottom and the door or seat is in the triggered state before trying to start.
Let's talk about weak walking faults. This kind of fault will affect the working efficiency. First, check the battery power first. Lack of power will not only lead to failure to start, but also reduce the walking power. Charging is the most direct solution. Second, check the wear of the drive wheel. If the wear of the drive wheel pattern is serious or even flat, it will reduce the friction with the ground, resulting in weak walking. At this time, the worn drive wheel needs to be replaced. Third, check the carbon brush of the walking motor. If the wear of the carbon brush exceeds the warning line, it will affect the current transmission of the motor, resulting in insufficient power. Just replace the matching carbon brush in time.
If the fault has not been eliminated after the above basic investigation and treatment, it is recommended to contact a professional electric forklift maintenance personnel for maintenance to avoid secondary damage caused by self-disassembly of complex components.
