The available height here refers to the clearance from the top of the warehouse to the ground, and the space for possible obstacles such as fire pipes, lamps and ventilation equipment at the top needs to be subtracted. Finally, after a certain safety margin is reserved, it is the maximum acceptable height after the gantry is lifted to avoid the risk of collision. Secondly, it is necessary to clarify the pallet stacking requirements for daily operations. It is necessary to count the types of pallets used at high frequencies, the total height of the goods after stacking, and then determine the lifting height that the door frame needs to reach to ensure that the highest pallet can be picked up and placed smoothly without affecting the stability of the lower goods. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the space occupation during the lifting and lowering process, such as the total height of the two-layer or three-layer door frame before lifting. This height is also called the shrinkage height other than the free lifting height. Some door frames with free lifting function can first lift the fork a certain distance under the shrinkage height, which is more suitable for scenarios where low spaces such as elevators and bottom passages of shelves need to be entered. The limitations of narrow working passages cannot be ignored. Some special door frames, such as the door frames of reach forklifts, may not be able to lift or turn normally when the channel width is small. At this time, not only should the height of the door frame be controlled, but also the appropriate door frame type and size should be selected in combination with the channel width.
