Daily charging and maintenance is the key to ensuring the service life and stable performance of the battery of the storage lithium forklift, and the operator must strictly follow the standard process.
Preparation before charging
First, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the appearance of the battery to see if the shell is cracked, deformed or leaking. If there is any abnormality, suspend the charging and contact a professional. Then confirm the compliance of the charging environment, choose a well-ventilated area away from the high temperature of the open flame, ensure that the ground is dry and free of water accumulation, and avoid the risk of electric shock. Finally, check the charging equipment to see if the charging cable is damaged and the plug is loose to ensure that the equipment is available normally.
Standard operation of charging process
Connect the charging interface in the specified order, first connect the charging device plug to the forklift battery interface firmly, and then connect the power supply to avoid short circuits caused by reverse operation. After turning on the power supply, confirm that the charging parameters match, check whether the voltage and current match the rated parameters of the battery, and adjust in time if they do not match. Regularly monitor the battery status during charging, observe whether the indicator light flashes normally, and immediately stop charging if there is an abnormal alarm.
Check and finish after charging
After charging is completed, disconnect the connection in reverse order. First cut off the power supply and then unplug the charging plug to prevent arc damage to the interface. Then clean the battery and charging interface, and wipe the dust stains with a dry soft cloth to avoid the accumulation of impurities affecting the subsequent charging. Finally, make a charging record, record the charging start and end time, duration and battery status, and provide data reference for subsequent maintenance.
Standardized charging and maintenance can prolong battery life, reduce the failure rate, and ensure the efficient operation of storage forklifts. Operators need to develop good habits and strictly implement every step of the operation.
