Guidelines for safe operation of lithium-ion forklifts under the national standard(Image1)

It is necessary to strictly abide by the current national safety operation and maintenance standards for industrial vehicles, industrial battery packs, and charging equipment. Three-point lithium-ion forklifts are often used in narrow-channel warehousing, light loading and unloading scenarios due to their small steering radius and flexibility. However, safety operation awareness and standardized procedures cannot be ignored.

Daily safety technical inspection points

Before operation, daily safety technical inspections should be carried out as required. First, the tires and body parts, all three tires should be checked to see if the wear of the front wheel bearing wheel exceeds a reasonable range, whether the rear wheel steering wheel rotates flexibly without abnormal sticking, and whether the tire pressure is maintained near the recommended value. Check whether the body frame, seat and surrounding protective devices are loose, deformed or damaged, and whether the buckles and locking functions of the seat belt are normal and effective. Secondly, the control and braking part, step on the brake pedal to feel whether the stroke is moderate, and whether it can provide stable braking force when stepping lightly or heavily; turn the steering wheel to check whether the steering is accurate, and whether it can automatically return to the middle position after steering; check whether the fork, fork rack, chain and sprocket are cracked, deformed, loose or excessively worn, and whether the positioning pin of the fork is firmly installed. Finally, the electrical and battery part, check whether the battery box is bulging or damaged before turning on the power switch, and whether the connection interface of the battery is clean, dry and rust-free; confirm whether the vehicle's lighting, turn signals, warning horns and other signal devices are complete and functional.

Core specifications in boot and operation

After the inspection is completed, the vehicle can be turned on and started according to the correct steps. Before starting, make sure that no one is leaning on the driver's seat, the seat belt is worn correctly, the fork is lowered to the lowest position and the fork rack is tilted forward to a safe angle, and the handbrake has been pulled. When starting, turn on the main power switch, press the start button, and wait for the system self-test to complete to confirm that there is no abnormal alarm signal on the instrument panel. During the operation, attention should be paid to controlling the speed of the vehicle, and the speed should not be too fast in open and flat passages. In narrow passages, turns, slopes, or crowded areas, it is necessary to decelerate in advance. If necessary, stop to confirm safety before passing. When driving, keep your attention focused, observe the situation in front, behind, and on both sides. Use rearview mirrors reasonably to avoid sudden braking, sudden acceleration, or sharp turns. It is strictly forbidden to carry people. No one should stand on the fork or around the vehicle. The weight of the goods should not exceed the rated load of the vehicle. The center of gravity of the goods should be placed near the connection between the two front wheels, and the placement should be stable and firm.

Safety precautions for charging

After the job is over, park the vehicle in a designated, well-ventilated charging area, pull up the handbrake, lower the fork, turn off all electrical equipment, and finally disconnect the main power switch. Charging requires the use of supporting charging equipment, and non-original or non-compliant charging devices are not allowed to be replaced at will; flammable and explosive items are strictly prohibited in the charging area, smoking or using open flames are strictly prohibited; do not plug or unplug the charging interface at will during the charging process, and in case of abnormal circumstances, immediately disconnect the power supply of the charging device.
