First of all, it is necessary to pay attention to the configuration of the core power component battery. Low temperature will greatly reduce the activity and battery life of ordinary lithium batteries. Special models should use lithium iron phosphate or other suitable system cells optimized for low temperature, and at the same time be equipped with a reasonable heating and insulation system. Heating can automatically start before charging or low temperature start. The insulation layer can delay the heat loss of the battery and ensure stable output power within the set low temperature range. The IP protection level of the battery also needs to be high to deal with possible condensation or slight water accumulation in the cold storage.
Secondly, the configuration of the motor and the drive system, the viscosity of the lubricating oil will increase in the low temperature environment, the starting resistance of the ordinary motor and gear reducer will increase, and it is prone to card or energy consumption soaring problems. Special models should choose a sealed motor with low temperature resistance, and the suitable gear reducer should be filled with lubricating grease that meets the requirements of low temperature. At the same time, permanent magnet synchronous motors can be considered. This type of motor itself has high energy efficiency and relatively good adaptability to low temperature. It can operate stably under different working conditions of low load or high load, reducing energy consumption and equipment failure rate in the cold storage.
Then there is the configuration of the steering and braking system. The three-point forklift itself has a small steering radius, making it suitable for cold storage narrow channel operations. However, the reliability of steering and braking at low temperatures also needs to be guaranteed. The steering system can prioritize electric power steering, which is less susceptible to low temperatures than hydraulic power. The steering operation is lighter and more accurate. The braking system should adopt a sealed braking structure suitable for low temperatures, and add low-temperature resistant brake fluid to avoid the risk of brake line blockage or brake failure. Some models can also be equipped with an automatic hold function for parking brakes to further enhance operational safety.
Finally, there is the configuration of the body and protection. The humidity in the cold storage is high, and the temperature difference can easily lead to condensation and rust of the body. The body of a special vehicle should be made of corrosion-resistant materials or surface treatment processes, such as galvanizing or spraying. Seats, operating handles, and other components should also be made of materials that are resistant to low temperature and not easy to embrittle. Some models can also be equipped with simple heating cushions or armrests in the driving area to improve the comfort of the operator and improve the efficiency of the operation.
